NPB Media Team Up With DreamWorks And Aardman For Flushed Away DVD Release.

NPB Media who previously worked with DreamWorks for the DVD release of "Over The Hedge" were eager to work their digital "magic" on the all star cast animation.
NPB Media formulated a Digital Marketing and PR plan to make the DVD release a conspicuous hit across the online platform. The overall strategy worked to generate mass pre-release awareness among the target audience and encourage "pester power" through interaction with highly engaging visual content.
NPB Media worked closely with their digital creative division NPB www.nakedpenguinboy.com to build the creative content consisting of interactive advertising formats and rich media, interactive online games, mobile content, wallpapers and screensavers.
Through digital PR techniques, NPB Media succeeded in generating significant coverage, obtaining third party sponsorship for promotions and positioning "Flushed Away" as the "must have" DVD of 2007. The online campaign results exceeded the initial targets and made a significant mark in the overall success of the DVD release.
NPB Media used the "A List" casting as to leverage exclusive content and secure prominent coverage on major entertainment and lifestyle portals. The advantages of doing this were twofold; ensuring wide distribution of digital content across major entertainment and lifestyle sites as well as other sites in the same genre, and enabling awareness of the DVD release among the target audience to grow exponentially.
To aid pre-release awareness further, NPB Media seeded the promotional game for "Flushed Away" ("The Great Slug Race "created by NPB) across the net. The game worked to create entertainment value, and gave DreamWorks and Aardman fans an opportunity to interact with the movies characters.
